1940s Men`s Matching 3 piece Wool Suit – Jacket, Vest & Pants “Winner Brand Clothes Philadelphia”. Quite a lot of. Moth holes and is dusty. Still a very rare and nice suit. Jacket has original tag in neck that has a Lot number and Size 38. Tag reads Winner Brand Clothes Philadelphia. Pants have nice button fly and open watch pocket. Vest has 4 pockets, 5 buttons and back matches jacket lining. The suit is named and I believe it was one he wore around high school graduation, which was around 1943 and to church as the size seems to be for a young man. The blue Resisito neck tie that was in the pocket is in another listing in my store. Label has initials logo “SSW”. “Winner Brand Clothes Philadelphia”. All measurements below are by seamstress tape and are in inches, are not doubled, and measured from seam to seam or straight across while garment is laying flat. Armpit to armpit (chest) measures 18.5 inches. Sleeve measures 24 inches from the shoulder seam to the cuff end. Shoulder seam to the shoulder seam measures 15 1/2 inches across the back.
