Incredibly rare decorated early J. Dubow A-2 Vest that was once a jacket and has since been chopped. The tag on this says property of the Air Force U. The back graphic has been identified as the 9th Air Force logo, and theres a P-38 bomber between the wingtips. Jacket is definitely old, and the tag seems to indicate world war 2 though Im not an expert. This vest has the crown spring loaded zipper that swings back down when you pull it up. Shows the most signs of wear on the elastic waistband, with some holes and a tear on the left side. The lining along the sleeves is also loose due to the sleeves being cut and the lining not having stitching in that area, but it could easily be fixed if you desire. The buttons around the collar that lock the collar into place are pretty difficult to connect into, I believe its just from old age. This has been well worn but it has made the leather extremely soft and comfortable when wearing. This is truly one of a kind and extremely unique. Measures 20 X 24.
